Russ Jenisch

Denver Broncos, Senior Director of Event Presentation and Production

Russ Jenisch has close to 40 years of experience in sports production and currently works as the senior director of event presentation and production for the Denver Broncos. In this role, he leads a team of 14 in the production of broadcast content (he is the executive producer of a daily half-hour broadcast and other limited run series), game entertainment, event production, technology, and support, as well as other content for internal and external platforms. Jenisch has been with the Broncos since 2016 and established a Broadcast Department in July of 2018. He also helped design, engineer, and manage the construction of a $2.5 million broadcast studio at the Broncos Training Facility.

Prior to the Broncos, Jenisch worked independently, mostly as a live director and producer for local, regional, and national channels including ESPN, Fox Sports, the Big 10 Network, and others. He has directed, consulted, trained, and managed many sports broadcasts, venues, and corporate events.

In 2002, Jenisch established the first-ever production department for the Cincinnati Reds and was instrumental in the design/build of the production facilities at Great American Ball Park.

Prior to his sports-only career, Jenisch earned tenure as a member of the Communication faculty at Northern Kentucky University. His post-graduate degree career began as a producer/director (who also had to figure out how to build a remote television truck) at Miami of Ohio.

A graduate of Bradly University (B.A.) and Southern Illinois University (M.A.), Jenisch has earned several industry awards for production including regional Emmys, Tellys, and GMAs, which recognize excellence in sports venue productions.
