Paul Benedict

NBA, VP, Broadcasting Content Management

Paul Benedict was named the NBA's vice president of broadcasting content management in 2020.

Benedict joined the NBA in 2004 as a project employee in the Broadcast Content Management Group, where he worked his way up to vice president. He is responsible for the day-to-day relationship with the national and local broadcast partners including producers, directors, and talent. Benedict spent almost 100 days in the NBA Bubble in Orlando helping to supervise the successful relaunch of the 2019-20 season. He also oversees the Broadcast Content Management Group, which includes guiding messaging regarding rules, marketing, statistics, and other league initiatives.

Benedict received a B.A. in communications from Villanova University in 2004 and later went on to get his M.B.A. from NYU Stern in 2011.

Benedict resides in Harlem, NY.
