Kevin Landy

USGA, Senior Director, Broadcasting and Production

Sports television executive Kevin Landy bridges an industry expanse from the rise of cable TV through the evolution of new media, with experience in domestic and international live and taped production, program development, rights negotiation, international programming sales, talent development, digital media, and production operations. Landy’s golf experience began in 1998 as VP of programming and coordinating producer for USA Network, where he managed a 33-event schedule including the Players Championship, the Ryder Cup, and the Masters Tournament. Along with PGA TOUR Entertainment, Landy created regular, live studio cut-ins to early round PGA TOUR events on USA Network in concert with the three broadcast networks. During that time, he developed the weekly one hour PGA TOUR Sunday series, the first ever PGA TOUR pre-game show.

In 2008, as senior producer with the NBC Olympics Group, Landy won a Sports Emmy for Outstanding New Approaches – Sports Event Coverage for the Beijing Olympics. After four years as executive producer for Fox Sports Midwest in St. Louis, MO, Landy took his current position with the United States Golf Association where he oversees the USGA’s relationships with its domestic and international broadcast partners for the eight USGA Championships broadcast annually. In addition, Landy heads up the production of content across USGA digital platforms from the studio he helped design and build, as well as the 24/7 OTT network he helped architect.
